The Knicks won 1 day ago which is good news for us because they seem to come back less concentrated and with less home court. Tonight the Knicks are favorites by 2 points and that is a step down from where they opened at -3 which is odd since the public is on the Knicks. They are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 as a home favorite between this number and 0-4 ATS following a SU or ATS win and 0-4 ATS after scoring 100+.
They have faced the Bucks earlier in this season losing 102-87, but that 15 point loss is not even close to how bad it got in that game which I'll get to in a minute. The Bucks are one of the hottest teams in the league right now thanks to Brandon Jennings and more thanks to Andrew Bogut who is finally living up to his expectations. The Bucks are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 as dogs. They just beat Miami back to back home and away and then had a slip up against the Magic. That game they were on 0 days rest which is tough for them, but lucky for us because since they got blew out by the Magic we get this number at a great spot. That is why I'm taking it on the money line as well. They play their best defense on 2 days rest and are 7-3 ATS this season.
Now to the last match up. The Knicks did not have Nate Robinson but it would not have made a difference any how as the Knicks trailed by 31 at the half and as much as 36 in the game. The Bucks let them win the 3rd and 4th quarter battles, but they really weren't trying in the game as they gave up 53.3% from three to the Knicks that is something I don't anticipate here tonight and it's the only way the Knicks can win this game is if they shoot the three well. The Bucks are the #8 three point defense and they just dominated the Knicks in the paint in the last match up out rebounding them by 20 and outscoring them 58-32. That has nothing to do with who wants it more, but rather just how much better the Bucks are. Right now the Bucks are the hot team while the Knicks are the inconsistent team. I see the Bucks dogs here because of their outing in Orlando and how the Knicks man handled the Wizards at home in their last game. This is an error and that's why Vegas is retracting because some heavy money is coming in on the Bucks for those who realize the error like me.
